Preparing your students for college? In addition to TRAILS-12, take a look at our sister site—Transitioning to College (T2C) at http://www.transitioning2college.org. T2C provides resources for both students and librarians about the college experience. Can you help us? We have a grant to strengthen and promote TRAILS-12 and T2C. We seek high school librarians to serve as a sounding board on how these two tools might help you prepare your students for college. Your assistance might take the form of participating in a survey, online focus group, or interview that would take place early in 2012. If you are willing, please complete the short online form at: http://tinyurl.com/hs2college We so enjoyed our session at AASL Exploratorium--to hear so many accounts of how you are using TRAILS and to meet many more who are interested in the possibilities. National benchmarks based on 2010-11 data are available for 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th grades. To view, log in and go to "My Account." Check out the TRAILS wiki (http://trails-informationliteracy.wikispaces.com) Join us on Twitter at TRAILS InfoLit and become a TRAILS fan on our Facebook page. TRAILS is a service of Kent State University Libraries. |
